Portland, ME, November 18, 2014: Owner and Founder of The Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Verne Weisberg posted a new blog on his website entitled, “Non-Invasive, Long Lasting ThermiTight Now Available at Plastic Surgery Center.” While the effects of aging silently take their toll on skin, some people are always going to be averse to surgery. Dr. Weisberg offers an array of non-surgical treatments and has added the most recent and possibly the most exciting procedure available.
Dr. Weisberg states, “If you’ve ever wished there could be an easy way to melt fat under the skin and tighten loose skin, your wish has been fulfilled. ThermiTight is the first aesthetic procedure, making use of radio frequency thermal energy (heat) to reverse the effects of aging.”
A procedure that is more lasting than other non-surgical procedures like dermal fillers and Botox, Weisberg says, “This is the perfect procedure for the face, neck, abdominal area, thighs, under arms and love handles.” Performed in the office under local anesthesia, Weisberg explains how painless the procedure is. “It is performed by inserting a tiny probe under the skin through a very tiny incision. While there may be an experience of minimal discomfort during the injection of a local anesthetic used to numb the area being treated, the procedure is painless.” Weisberg continues, “A slight pressure or warmth during the treatment may also be experienced while small areas of fat are melted. The body subsequently breaks down the fat and naturally eliminates it.”
According to Weisberg, while the results of ThermiTight can be seen immediately, they actually improve over time. He says, “The beauty of the ThermiTight is that the procedure often takes less than an hour and can last several years.”
Weisberg explains that the ThermiTight procedure has been available and FDA approved since 2012. He points out that “The procedure is accessible to everyone and safe for men and women of all ages.” The timing is perfect as Weisberg invites, “Treat yourself to the gift of a non-invasive ThermiTight treatment this holiday season.”
