About Camilo Gutierrez:

Camilo Guiterrez lives in Sacramento, California. Through his recovery Camilo found his beautiful wife Maria. He often refers to her as his cornerstone for life and love. They live together with their three cats: The one-eyed Puma, Super Mario, and BearBear. He owns and operates his gym Midtown Strength and Conditioning. He is a personal trainer, strength coach, and incredibly enthusiastic entrepreneur.

During his youth he played baseball in the Sacramento area, most notably for Sacramento City College. Camilo has a unique athletic background in the fact that he’s so dynamic. Starting with excelling in collegiate baseball, growing into a competitive bodybuilder, power lifter, CrossFit athlete, and finding an everlasting passion for Olympic weight lifting. Camilo holds the honor of being inducted into C.K. McClatchy’s hall of fame, his hometown high school-for his excellence in baseball. Camilo himself has been taught by some of the best weightlifting coaches in the country: Dave Spitz, Jim Schmitz, Paul Doherty, Chip Conrad, and countless others. Camilo’s work ethic was greatly influenced from his baseball coach, Jerry Weinstein. Over the past ten years at his gym he has helped coach over 3,000 members. He is continually learning and growing his mental strength through listening to motivational speakers everyday. Brian Tracy, Napoleon Hill, Les Brown, and Tony Robbins his ideals have had a profound effect on Camilo and his work ethic.
