About Michele Hornby

Raised in Swan Valley, Idaho, Michele Hornby is a graduate of the University of Utah where she received her Masters in Gerontology, a BA in Psychology from Brigham Young University along with AA degree in accounting. She has worked in Washington, D.C., Sydney, Australia, and Los Angeles, Ca.

Her last two degrees were obtained after the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. The return to school was in an effort to regain cognitive functioning due to losses caused by her first MS exasperation. Michele was the Utah Valley Volunteer of the year in 1997 and the Utah State MS Champion of the Year in 1998. This honor included being present at signing the MS official day declaration with Governor Mike Levitt. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society awarded her a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999.

She is the owner of Authentic Health, LLC and a passive partner in Sleepy J Cabins, LLC. Besides being a natural Health Educator, she is an international speaker and author. She was just featured on “Hollywood Live” with Jack Canfield which will hit airwaves this fall.
Michele, a mother of 3, a grandmother of 5, currently resides in Queen Creek, Az. She is widowed. Her husband, Glen Hornby, was a police officer and detective for the Los Angeles Police Dept.
