Co-Founder of Red Feather Financial, Dr. Sabrina Scott Speaks About The Common Love/Hate Relationship Many People Have With Insurance

Dr. Sabrina Scott explains one of the most common reasons why so many people have a love hate relationship with insurance and offers a solution for avoiding surprises when the need arises to make a claim.

DECATUR, GA, October 18, 2018: Dr. Sabrina Scott, co-founder of Red Feather Financial, has posted a new blog on the firm’s website entitled “Why So Many People Have A Love Hate Relationship With Insurance.” Dr. Scott is keenly aware of how people feel about insurance since as she explains, “I co-founded a company that recommends a variety of services and products created by insurance companies.”

Sabrina ScottDr. Scott says, “I hear from those who love to hate insurance as well as those who hate to love it.” She continues adding, “Let’s face it, in the times in which we live, insurance is a necessity. Health insurance, automobile insurance, life insurance, long-term care insurance, homeowner’s insurance, ad infinitum, we just can’t live without it.”

According to Dr. Scott, “One of the most common reasons most people hate insurance is because of the “exclusions” that are often buried in the long drawn out legalese of every policy. Of course, those who sell insurance do not focus on the exclusions – they focus on the benefits.” She states, “It’s no surprise then, that many policy holders are confused, frustrated and downright angry when they think they are covered for something and discover they are not.

“Insurance is complicated and can be difficult to understand.” Scott writes. She elaborates, “Different types of insurance work in different ways and not all insurance agents and brokers are specialists in all types. “

About Dr. Sabrina Scott

Sabrina Scott learned about Veterans Benefits and Medicaid when her parents sought legal services for long-term care. As a result, Dr. Scott became an investment advisor representative who can make recommendations regarding securities and became licensed in insurance as well. She co-founded Red Feather Financial with Victoria Collier to help those who want to have a plan in place in order not to outlive their resources and who do not want to be a burden to their children.
