Dr. Wages is from Denton, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas, and went to medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He did his training for general surgery and plastic surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and then went on to an advanced Fellowship in Microsurgery and Hand surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he held a teaching appointment with Harvard Medical School.
