Tony Cigno, dentist in Milwaukee, shares tips on preventing and treating holiday dental emergencies.

Greenfield, WI — January 3, 2017— Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published an article titled, “Holiday Dental Care Tips from Milwaukee Dentist Dr. Tony Cigno – Preventing & Treating Holiday Dental Emergencies!”

As Dr. Cigno says, the last thing you want to deal with over the holidays is a dental emergency. Yet, he adds, “There are some dental mishaps that are more common over the holidays. And since emergency dental treatment – if available – can be quite expensive, an ounce of awareness can be hugely valuable.”

Thus, Dr. Cigno provides some cautions to consider to keep teeth healthy over the holidays. Hopefully, avoiding having to find a dentist in Milwaukee who is open during this time and can provide emergency dental treatment.

Some of the specific tips he gives include watching what you eat and not using your teeth as “tools”. Likewise, one of the cautions he offers is to guard your mouth during outdoor sports. Of course, when families get together over the holidays, weather permitting, time is often spent outside playing sports and engaging in other activities that can get rough and tumble. Consequently, this can sometimes result in dental injuries and emergencies (along with physical ones as well).
