Direct Response Marketing Expert, Andrew Cass Warns That To Avoid Mobile Optimization is to Get Lost

Andrew Cass, Co-founder and President of RemarkaMobile, urges businesses to understand that nothing is more relevant or urgent to their survival than making their business website mobile friendly.

Miami, FL, January 9, 2015: Co-founder and President of RemarkaMobile, Andrew Cass, nationally recognized expert on Direct Response Marketing, has posted a new article on the RemarkaMobile website entitled, Get Mobile Friendly or Get Lost.   A new ranking system from Google has created even greater urgency for businesses to turn their attention to mobile optimization and Cass uses this to help motivate his readers.

Cass quotes Brian Klais, president of mobile marketing firm Pure Oxygen Labs LLC and a mobile search engine optimization expert who says, “It’s safe to say mobile SEO is now a requirement for mobile commerce.” The reason for this statement, as Cass goes on to reveal, is that “Google is adding a “Mobile Friendly” label to sites that are optimized for smart phones.”

Cass reiterates his ongoing message, “So, just in case you haven’t gotten the message loud enough or clearly enough yet, if your business is not focused on mobile optimization right now you will find yourself on Google’s “naughty list” and will be missing out on massive opportunities. What that really means is your business will get lost because it will not even come up on a Google search list.

In his article, Cass poses the question, “What could possibly be more urgent for your business when you read, “Google has started adding the label “Mobile-friendly” below the link and before the description in smart phone-based search results when Google detects a destination site is optimized for smartphones?”  He follows up with another the question, to which the answer seems obvious. “Given a choice,” he asks, “which business would you click on?”

Cass quotes Brian Klais again who says,  “This is like an endorsement from Google for sites that avoid serving mobile users content that requires pinching and zooming, horizontal scrolling, or incompatible software like Flash.”

Further, Cass writes, “Google is also considering using this “mobile-friendly” label as a ranking system, so those businesses that are mobile optimized will be the first to come up in a search. Those that are not are merely lost.”

According to Cass, “If are putting your energy and efforts into mass email campaigns, you are missing the boat. If you are spending a majority of your marketing budget on direct mail campaigns, you definitely have your head in the sand and may as well be trying to do business on another planet. Because that is not the way business is done on planet earth in 2015!”
