Dwayne Foster, President and CEO of Stinson Press, Inc., talks about his annual ritual that serves as relaxing retreat and helps him avoid the crush and rush of holiday shopping at the last minute.

Poplar Bluff, MO – September 17, 2016:  Dwayne Foster, Author, Speaker, President & CEO of Stinson Press, Inc, posted a new article on his website entitled, “Only 115 Shopping Days Until Christmas!” Mr. Foster shares how he spends his annual time off.

Foster states, “As I write this, there are just 115 days until Christmas.” He continues adding, “I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to do my shopping at the last minute. This is the time of year I like to take a break from my work at Stinson Printing to do some relaxed holiday shopping. Right after we get the kids off to school, I have time to leisurely stroll through the malls and shops to look for appropriate and exciting holiday gifts.”

According to Foster, “For a lot of people, this is not a good time to do their holiday shopping. Maybe you’re like many families who have spent a bundle on getting the kids back to school and the last thing you can think about is holiday shopping.” He adds, “I totally get it. However, this is a routine that works for me and I share it in the event that it may work well for someone else.”

“I know that retail stores depend on Black Friday sales and the discounts offered right up to Christmas Eve for the bulk of their sales for the year,” says Foster. “But,” he elaborates, “I will never be among those crowds. I’m the one who has the holiday shopping completed by the end of September. Call me crazy. That’s okay. I love the quietness of the malls this time of year. I can shop without being rushed or crowded. And, I can leave the mad, last minute shopping to those who prefer that style of shopping.”
