Exercise and Strength Training Franchise SuperSlow Zone Achieves Second Five Year Re-Accreditation As An Authorized Provider By Prestigious IACET

Madeline Ross, CEO of exercise franchise SuperSlow Zone, LLC, announces second term authorization demonstrating commitment to high quality lifelong learning

Orlando, Fla. – September 9, 2010 – The SuperSlow Zone®, LLC, proudly announces their re-accreditation (as of Friday, August 30, 2010) as an Authorized Provider for the International Association of Continuing Education and Training [http://www.iacet.org]. This exemplary status is for The SuperSlow Zone’s® second five year term. Being an IACET Authorized Provider means that the company or organization consistently delivers continuing education and training to the world-class standards of the American National Standards Institute [ANSI] and IACET. ANSI/IACET is the most prestigious global accreditation available.

“We are pleased to welcome SuperSlow Zone, LLC® as continuing to be an Authorized Provider organization,” stated Karen Brown, President of IACET and Senior HR Manager of Nuclear Power at Shaw Group in Massachusetts.  Brown added, “SuperSlow Zone, LLC® joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met.”

SuperSlow Zone® CEO Madeline Ross said, “It is a very rigorous application and evaluation. IACET has a two tier assessment process by their Commissioners. Our re-application was 470 pages. Our site visit by the IACET Commissioner was equally meticulous. The IACET Commissioners assess our evidence for consistently upholding the ANSI/IACET global standards for the highest quality annual continuing education courses [CEUs] that our front line Certified SuperSlow® Instructors must take to maintain a valid certification. This is very important in a personal training industry that is largely ungoverned, non-accredited, unsafe and a free-for-all.”

USA examples of corporations and organizations accredited by IACET are the American Physical Therapy Association, National Institute of Health, Centers for Disease Control, Duke University Medical Center, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Corporate University, GE Healthcare, etc. Because the IACET accreditation is global in scope, SuperSlow Zone’s® international expansion in the country of Turkey as their first territory development, is covered by this esteemed accreditation.

Ross remarked, “Our CEU courses are not ‘death by Powerpoint’ or ‘how fast can I click radio buttons in an on-line course.’ We know that integral to our brand value is continual education and skills development of our front-line Certified SuperSlow Instructors through their annual CEU courses. Therefore, our CEU courses are as interactive as I can make them. Our Certified Instructors are smart, committed professionals who must be given tough subject matter in which  they deliver live demonstrations of their knowledge through challenging interactive methods during the class. The student’s presentation is always followed by a peer-to-peer assessment and completed by the teacher’s assessment of the presenting student and assessing their peer’s feedback.  Standards for each aspect of the course are stated and assessed.”

“We also received an outstanding recognition by our IACET Commissioner for how well we assess the student’s practical skill development. The objective of my course design is to ensure that when students/Certified Instructors complete a CEU course at our institute, they have advanced their skills to better service their clients….that’s what this is all for.  Our institute is the right hand of each General Manager. ANSI/IACET is one critical component for our brand stewardship,” continued Ross.

SuperSlow Zone®’s Compliance Officer, Dr. Scott Preissler, Ph D., who was previously an IACET Commissioner for three years and is currently on the IACET’s finance committee, said,  “In some ways, our review was even more rigorous because of my past and present roles in IACET. Madeline is very coachable, thorough and accurate so we worked well together to complete a re-application which received a glowing evaluation. In fact, Madeline did so well that our IACET site visit Commissioner recommended that Madeline apply to become an IACET Commissioner. The Commissioner also recommended Madeline to be a future speaker for  IACET on the topic of being an IACET Authorized Provider because she, and I, understand how to leverage the IACET standards and relationship to strengthen our company’s brand by using it to build stronger client relationships.”
