Below is an excerpt of the FoxBusiness.com article:

As you embark on retirement or prepare to do so, you have to fine-tune your projections and consider shifting your asset allocations.

For a projection of you Social Security benefits at retirement, you should contact your Social Security Administration.

As far as income needs and other sources of income retirees may have, such as pensions & Social Security, Fricke says to determine how much income you need or want from savings and investments.

“Then, design an investment allocation that exposes you to the least amount of risk, while giving you the highest probability of reaching and keeping your goals,” Fricke said. “To help our clients determine their individual ideal asset allocation we use what we refer to as ‘Scenario Planning,’ technically known as Monte Carlo Simulation analysis.”
