Charlotte personal trainer, Julie Sawyer, recently appeared as the focus of the TV show, World Fitness Elite. The show was seen on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX network affiliates around the country.

Charlotte, NC – January 25, 2013 – Julie Sawyer, Owner and Operator of Tuff Girl Bootcamps and Charlotte Corporate Wellness, was recently an expert guest on the TV show “World Fitness Elite.” The show was seen on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX network affiliates around the country.  “World Fitness Elite” was filmed in Orlando, FL and was hosted by Emmy Award winning Director and Producer Nick Nanton.

“World Fitness Elite” features segments featuring some of the best health and fitness experts from around the world.  Ms. Sawyer was a recent guest, discussing how she is offering unique, innovative fitness programs to help her clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

Julie Sawyer was inducted into the York County Athletic Hall of Fame in May 2011 for her tennis career and is one of only 5 female athletes to ever be inducted.  While filming the TV show in Orlando, Sawyer was also interviewed by Greg Rollett on the Celebrity Expert Network. Sawyer competed in the Inaugural Charlotte Women’s Pro League in 2010. She is the Fitness Director at The Palisades Country Club, where she has offered unique, innovative, fitness programs over the past five years.  She is the owner and founder of Tuff Girl Bootcamps and is an expert in bootcamp training, metabolic training for fat loss and kettlebell training. She has spent the last 4 years offering 30 minute express fitness classes for women, along with charity bootcamps and quarterly area transformation contests.

Julie has written fitness columns for the Lake Wylie Pilot, the Fort Mill Times, and Charlotte Health and Fitness Magazine. Her bootcamps have been featured on WSOC-TV, WCNC-TV, and CN2.  She also enjoys speaking at various women’s groups and conducting lunch-and-learns for local corporations.
