Founder and Executive Director of Medicine Horse Ranch, Alyssa Aubrey offers thoughts and observations as the quiet, dark winter season settles in.

 TOMALES, CA – January 16, 2018 – Alyssa Aubrey, Founder of Medicine Horse Ranch and co-author of the best-selling book, The Road To Success, recently posted a new blog on her website entitled, “Thoughts As Winter Deepens.” Ms. Aubrey goes inward as the outer world on her ranch goes into winter silence.

 Aubrey writes, “The holiday season is behind us. Perhaps you are deliciously tired after celebrating with family and friends whom you may see only sporadically throughout the year.” She continues adding, “If so, I hope the start of the New Year allows you quiet, peaceful time to recover as you savor the warmth of time spent with loved ones.”

“Whatever the New Year brings,” Aubrey says, “I pray that it be filled with health, peace, happiness and love.” According to Aubrey, “During the first few days after the busy holidays I had a few leisurely hours to contemplate and I offer the following thoughts during this time of quiet and introspection.”

Aubrey offers, “Winter ushers in the season of lessening light and a last look at autumn’s bounty. For the next six months, the nights will be longer than the days. The year, the season, the sun, is slowing down, growing cold, getting older.” She adds, “It is the time of dying in preparation for the time of rebirth- and the keen awareness of the delicate balance between the worlds.”
