Founder and Executive Director of Medicine Horse Ranch, Alyssa Aubrey talks about how working alongside animals in nature helps restore hope and natural leadership abilities.

TOMALES, CA – April 23, 2018 – Alyssa Aubrey, Founder of Medicine Horse Ranch and co-author of the best-selling book, The Road To Success, recently posted a new blog on her website entitled, “How Horses Can Guide Us Back To Our Senses,” in which Ms. Aubrey talks about resistance, restoration of the spirit and energy.

Aubrey points out that, “Living day-to-day in the corporate world has a tendency to cut us off from nature and our deepest instincts.” She adds, “Leaders in the corporate arena often receive their training from other leaders nourished in the corporate environment.”

According to Aubrey, “For many who find themselves in leadership positions or wanting to go for a leadership position, there may be resistance to the role for any number of reasons. Typically, these reasons consist of feeling unprepared, or lacking specific skills.” In addition, she says, “Fear of failing and fear of wandering too far out of an established comfort zone also come into play.”

“Being around animals and in nature,” writes Aubrey, “opens human consciousness and allows our instinctive connection to the natural world to open and inform us, restoring our spirit and our hope for the world we live in.” She continues adding, “Equine Guided Education programs take leaders, teams and individuals out of the day-to-day familiar confines of the conference room and into the natural world.”
