Safety advocate Gary Martin Hays, Esq. is one of the Executive Producers of a new documentary recently filmed in Acapulco, Mexico.

Atlanta, GA – February 23, 2013 – In a joint effort with Entrepreneurs International Foundation, Gary Martin Hays, Atlanta personal injury attorney and recognized safety advocate, is serving as an Executive Producer of an upcoming documentary film from CelebrityFilms®.  The film, a documentary about the Casa Hogar children’s home in Acapulco, Mexico, launched production in early January, 2013. Emmy® Award winning Director, Nick Nanton, will direct the film.

The documentary will reveal an in-depth look at the incredible story of the Casa Hogar children’s home in Acapulco, specifically how the home is providing a nurturing environment with a focus on education in this economically disadvantaged region. Casa Hogar is a children’s home that provides care, shelter, strength, love and hope in a Christian environment for orphaned and abandoned children in Acapulco, Mexico.

The work that the orphanage is doing “is changing the lives of these kids. They are bringing in kids from the streets and providing them with not only food, shelter and education, but most importantly the love of a family environment,” said Director Nick Nanton.  “We are excited that we got to film a movie as well as renovate their library and computer center with hundreds of new books and 10 new computers,” Nanton continued.

Gary Martin Hays traveled with The Emmy® Award winning team at CelebrityFilms® to Acapulco to help bring this film to full production.

In 2008, Gary started the non-profit organization Keep Georgia Safe with the mission to provide safety education and crime prevention training in Georgia.  Keep Georgia Safe has trained over 80 state and local law enforcement officers in CART (Child Abduction Response Teams) so our first responders will know what to do in the event a child is abducted in Georgia.  Gary has completed Child Abduction Response Team training with the National AMBER Alert program through the U.S. Department of Justice and Fox Valley Technical College.  He is a certified instructor in the radKIDS curriculum.
