Gary and his wife, Dr. Lisa Harpenau, live in San Francisco, California. He enjoys Biblical research studying Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew, chess, 1959 Corvette restoration, volunteering through the Kiwanis organization, and an inordinate amount of time walking his standard poodles. Gary’s self-confessed claims to fame are he once played two-on-two beach volleyball with Karch Kiraly, played the drums at The Fillmore, and once had his economic paper critiqued by Milton Friedman.
