 Houston SuperSlow Zone® master licensee Opel Zone, LLC, plans to develop up to 47 new SuperSlow Zone® locations. The Opel Zone, LLC managing partners Laura and Chris Opel and Debbie Lindsey-Opel and Pete Opel and master licensee of San Antonio, Texas, Harvey and Marjorie Mabry, will work in tandem with the future licensee of Dallas to brand SuperSlow Zone® throughout Texas.

 A strong entrepreneurial spirit, a family legacy of healthy living and a desire to work together formed the foundations for Opel Zone, LLC, the SuperSlow Zone’s® master licensee for the Greater Houston Area.  Chris Opel has a successful background in operations and sales.  He has worked for major companies including Whataburger™, a Texas-based hamburger restaurant, and Cox Communications.  His wife and business partner, Laura Opel, has been a long-term and effective advocate of early-childhood education and has been recognized by the Parent Teacher Organization for her leadership and support.  Chris’s brother, Pete Opel, spent 30 years as Vice President of Human Resources with Whataburger™ before retiring in 2003.  He has extensive experience in operational and leadership training, compensation and legal management.  In 2004, after an accomplished corporate career, Debbie Lindsey-Opel launched “Three Dimensional Development, LLC,” a flourishing consulting firm business specializing in leadership, strategic planning and organizational image. She works with major companies, educational institutions and organizations throughout Texas.
