Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, an upscale men’s barbershop franchise, recently tapped award-winning production company to produce their first radio commercial.

Barbershop Franchise, Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, Serves Only American-Made Beer

Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, an upscale men’s barbershop franchise, is assuring its members that they exclusively and proudly serve American-made beers.

Orlando, Fla. – July 31, 2009 – In light of the recent “Beer Summit” hosted at the White House on July 30th by President Barrack Obama with Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Sgt. James Crowley and Vice-President Joe Biden, Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club® was disappointed to hear that no American-made beers would be served. 

In a recent Wall Street Journal article, Robert Tomsho wrote,

“White House spokesman Robert Gibbs hinted the presidential cooler will likely be stocked with what he understood to be the two guests’ own personal favorites — Red Stripe and Blue Moon.  ‘The president will drink Bud Light,’ Mr. Gibbs added.  The problem is that all three beers are products of foreign companies.”

Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club® CEO, Chris Hurn, said, “We wanted to take the opportunity to assure our members and the communities that only American-made beers will ever be offered at our barber clubs.  Currently, we are giving away Samuel Adams to our members, but as we grow, we would love to incorporate other local, American brews.”

Kennedy’s is not the only American business that found this to be somewhat disturbing.  In a recent article by POLITICO called “Beer brewers beg for White House berth,” the author, Patrick Gavin quoted two prominent American-owned and American-made beer companies, Yuengling® and Sierra Nevada®. The following statements were given:

“Yuengling® is proud to be recognized as America’s Oldest Brewery,” a company spokesman told POLITICO. “Family owned and operated since 1829, we’ve been a part of conflict resolution for over 180 years!”

A representative for Sierra Nevada® said: “We believe that we are the perfect fit for the matter at hand, and a great choice to represent and facilitate the resilience and understanding of the American people. Sierra Nevada® [can] reinforce the idea that whether black or white, rich or poor, we are all first and foremost Americans. American citizens should support American beer.”

Kennedy’s International Franchising, LLC is proud to announce the sale of a Franchise Territory for Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, covering Nassau and Westchester Counties in New York, and Fairfield County, Conn. 

Orlando, Fla. – June 29, 2009 – Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, a barbershop franchise concept that uses a patent-pending membership-based system to add recurring revenue opportunities for its franchisees, is announcing the sale of the Master Franchise Territories covering Nassau and Westchester Counties in New York, along with Fairfield County in Connecticut.  

Main Street America Advisors, Inc. purchased the Master Franchise License, for Kennedy’s All- American Barber Club®.  Main Street America Advisors, Inc. is majority-owned by Jarrod Manfro, MBA and Richard Ashikari, MBA.  The agreement calls for the development of a minimum of 20 clubs over the next 5 years.   Kennedy’s has also allowed for the opening of a model club in Manhattan, which is outside of these prescribed territories.

Orlando, Fla. – May 29, 2009 – Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, a barbershop franchise concept that uses a patent-pending membership-based system to add recurring revenue opportunities for its franchisees, is announcing the sale of the Master Franchise Territory covering Williamson County in Tennessee.  

TLC Group, LLC purchased the Williamson County Master Franchise License, for Kennedy’s All- American Barber Club®.  TLC Group is a franchise holding company which is locally owned by Chris and Linda Taylor of Brentwood, Tn. TLC Group’s territory will be inclusive of Williamson County and the agreement calls for the development of 5 clubs over the next 7 years. TLC Group expects to have their first club open for business within the next 120 – 180 days.

  Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club® is an upscale men’s Barbershop concept that operates membership plans allowing unlimited haircuts and shaves at various price structures. The clubs are designed in the upscale, classic tradition of America’s bygone years, when men took a break from the stresses of the outside world to enjoy a high quality grooming experience at the neighborhood barbershop.

Chris Hurn, CEO of Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, a reinvented old-world style barbershop franchise, was recently featured in a Franchise Times article about inventive marketing practices. 

 

Orlando, Fla. –April 14, 2009 – Chris Hurn, CEO of Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club®, was recently the subject of a Franchise Times article titled “Message Mogul: Marketer Gets Word Out On Multiple Concepts.”  The article focused on Hurn’s sometimes unusual, but often extremely effective marketing practices. 

Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club® is a barbershop franchise concept that uses a patent-pending membership-based system to add recurring revenue opportunities for its franchisees.  The article spotlighted the recent marketing campaign aimed at potential Kennedy’s franchisees.  This campaign features a large, elegant black box filled with Kennedy’s materials such as a straight edge razor, a shaving brush, DVDs of the company information, and a plaque with the name of the prospective franchisee, among other promotional materials. 

Hurn calls this box the “Shock and Awe” box, which is a massive piece of marketing material compared to the “usual” two-pocket folder approach of many franchises. 

“What usually happens if you don’t want to do the two-pocket folder franchise, you just throw that folder in the garbage,” Hurn remarked.  “But our box is difficult to throw away.  It’s a nice looking piece.  It’s going to sit on your desk a while, staring back at you,” Hurn continued. 

The article also covered many of Hurn’s marketing techniques with his lending company, Mercantile Capital Corporation.  Highlighted were the use of mail-able paper wallets, bank bags and sealed popcorn bags, among others.  Hurn also gave several marketing tips throughout the article to help other franchises make the most of their marketing efforts. 

Hurn said, “I could be the world’s greatest banker, but if I didn’t have the ability to tell people about my specialized knowledge and skills, it wouldn’t matter.  There are plenty of broke geniuses out there who have no idea how to market their abilities and talents.  The same thing applies in the business world.”

Barbershop Franchise Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club’s™ Signature Cut and Straight Razor Shaves Attract Celebrities
