About Dr Scott D. Schumann:

During his career at Countrywide, Mr. McDevitt was promoted many times in just 4 years and became one of the youngest executives Countrywide has seen. He felt compelled to expand his quest for knowledge in this industry and decided to leave; however, he took his time at Countrywide as an invaluable experience as it set a solid foundation in his career. This foundation was made up of skills that Mr. McDevitt cultivated in every facet of the industry from Portfolio Retention to Correspondent Lending.

Mr. McDevitt then went on to become an Account Executive for a Direct Mortgage Lender and quickly became a top producer in the highly competitive field within 6 months. Again, feeling trapped in the wholesale industry he decided to pursue a more challenging and lucrative position within the trade. Having experience in Correspondent Lending and now Wholesale Mortgage Banking, Mr. McDevitt then began his career in the Retail Aspect of Mortgage Banking as a Sr. Loan Officer and was personally trained by the #2 Originator in the entire Country. Mr. McDevitt found this experience invaluable and was reaping the benefits of hard work and the rewarding real estate finance business. Mr. McDevitt funded over 100 million dollars in loans and generated over 20 million dollars in real estate per year.

In 2005, at the age of 23 Mr. McDevitt co-founded A&M Capital Funding Inc. and for two years managed a boutique multi-million dollar brokerage comprised solely of top producers within the real estate field while the youngest professional in the firm. Since then, he owned other successful businesses and has thrived as young entrepreneur. Mr. McDevitt’s main focus is now Fidelity Financial Group, a division of The McDevitt Group, McDevitt Inc. / McDevitt Company a full service Real Estate Firm that specializes in residential, commercial, and hard money loans. Mr. McDevitt has also accomplished raising millions for many diverse real estate developments and has quietly cemented his reputation as one of the major players in the industry. Mr. McDevitt has also been retained by the Scovis Law Group as CFO / Director of Sales as a commercial loan modification expert. Residential or commercial, no matter how complicated the terms, Mr. McDevitt has the experience to find the best possible deal.
