Orlando, Fla. – August 12, 2010 – Local Orlando news station WESH Channel 2 recently reported about a family of 16 from all over the country, meeting in Central Florida for a family reunion, who arrived in Orlando expecting to stay in a vacation home of which they paid over $2,000.  Unfortunately, when the family arrived to pick up the keys to the home, the company that sold them the service was nowhere to be found.

Hilda Sonia Cruz-Calderon from Miami filed a complaint with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office after realizing that the 7-bedroom vacation home for which she had already paid for, seemed to be a scam.  WESH Channel 2 in Orlando reported the heartbreaking story on August 11^th.  The original news story can be found at http://www.wesh.com/news/24593201/detail.html.

Enter Florida Leisure Vacation Homes and CEO Nigel Worrall.  Nigel saw the news feature and immediately wanted to help the family. “I watched the news last night and saw that these guys were desperate for a home,” Worrall said. “I offered a home to make up for the home that wasn’t there.”
