Inspirational Speaker and Sales Expert Tina Meitl Talks About Sales and Self-Mastery

Author, Inspirational Speaker and Sales Superstar, Tina Meitl, dispels the stereotypical idea of salespeople and relates that the greatest salespeople are recognized as masterful communicators, listeners and problem solvers.

OBERLIN, KS – September 7, 2016 – Tina Meitl, Sales Superstar, Motivational Speaker and co-author of the best-selling book, Success Manifesto with Brian Tracy has posted a new article on her website entitled, The Path to Sales Success Leads to Self Mastery.”  According to Ms. Meitl, “If you were to do a random sampling of people on the street, I am pretty sure you would discover that a majority of them have a stereotypical idea of salespeople.”

Tina Meitl“What tends to come to mind first,” says Meitl, “is the term ‘pushy’.” She continues adding, “That is usually followed with “used car salesman” or “department store clerk.” Unfortunately those stereotypes do still exist, but you’ll never find top sales people described as ‘pushy’.”

Meitl writes, “Good sales people do not coerce anyone to do anything. They don’t have to cajole or persuade, they definitely do not lie, nor do they exert power over others.” “After all,” she says, “selling is not a wrestling match, nor is it a con game.  One of the greatest salesmen ever, Zig Ziglar said, “The foundation stones for a balanced success are honesty, character, integrity, faith, love, and loyalty.”

According to Meitl, “People who truly understand and excel at sales are typically those who have done it for years. Along the way, they’ve learned a variety of skills and have mastered their fears, their weaknesses and their inadequacies. They may not have been when they started out, but they are now regarded as masterful communicators, listeners and problem solvers. They are usually the most understanding, kind and helpful people you’re likely to meet as well.”
