Dr. William P. Caldon D.M.D., is contributing as Executive Producer for new documentary titled “Armonia”.

New York – January 28, 2015 – Dr. William “Bill” Caldon, Owner of High Peaks Dental, will serve as Executive Producer on the upcoming documentary film, “Armonia”, from CelebrityFilms™.  Dr. Caldon and CelebrityFilms™ will partner with Armonia U.S. Inc, a non profit 501 (c)(3) corporation in the United States designed to support programs abroad committed to working with the poor to bring about Christian Transformation, empowerment and a better life. 3-Time Emmy Award winning Director, Nick Nanton, will direct the film.

Dr. William Caldon will join The Emmy Award winning team at CelebrityFilms™ to help bring this film to full production. The documentary will chronicle the journeys of several Armonia Indigenous Mexican Scholars (AIMS) students in Oaxaca, Mexico. The AIMS program provides an opportunity for poor Indian (indigenous Mexican) teenagers in the Sierra Madre mountains of Southern Mexico to obtain a High School education, and a chance for University education in Mexico City.

About Dr. Bill Caldon:

Doctor Bill Caldon is a well-recognized clinician, lecturer, educator and best-selling author. He grew up in northern Kentucky across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, and after graduating from high school at the age of 15, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Thomas More College in 1972. After Doctor Caldon received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Louisville in 1976, he served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a full Colonel. In 1985 he successfully completed an Air Force two year Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry.

During his distinguished military career, he received training in an arduous two year general dentistry residency and successfully challenged the demanding Federal Services Board of General Dentistry being recognized by the military as a specialist in General Dentistry. For the maximum three years he served as only one of three Air Force dentists as an examiner on that Federal Services Board. As an instructor in an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry, he taught recent dental graduates courses in the disciplines of restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders, orthodontics and oral pathology. For three years he served as the Director of a one-year General Dentistry Residency and Commanded Air Force Dental Clinics in England, New York and New Jersey.

In 2013 Dr. Caldon received the coveted Quilly award for coauthoring the book, Out Front: Business Building Strategies from Front Line Entrepreneurs, a collection of advice and success stories from several accomplished business people, which made the Amazon Best Seller list. His television interview regarding the success of book and his business achievements has been seen on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates across the country. He has been quoted as a premier expert in dentistry in USA TODAY and he has been featured on over 300 nationally recognized websites such as Reuters, MarketWatch and Yahoo!Finance.

Along with his partners, Dr. Mike O’Connor and Dr. D.J. O’Neill, Dr. Caldon helps direct a thriving general dentistry practice in upstate New York with offices in Plattsburgh and Lake Placid. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Diplomate in the American Board of General Dentistry and is a member in the International College of Dentistry, the American Association of Implantology and the American Dental Association. He possesses certificates in Oral Conscious Sedation, Invisalign (invisible braces orthodontics) and Short Term Orthodontics. He routinely achieves over 100 hours of continuing education each year.

Dr. Caldon is married to Margaret, his childhood sweetheart and bride of 40 years. Margaret has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Northern Kentucky State University and uses her RN degree to serve as a nurse in a local private pediatric office. They have four very successful children each of whom is either on active duty in the military or are serving in Air National Guard. They enjoy seven beautiful grandchildren.
