Korianne Mar is a proud mom, wife, entrepreneur, world traveler and philanthropist.

She was raised in Vietnam under a strict dad, who flew her out of Vietnam alone when she was in her late teens, seeking freedom and opportunity called the American Dream. She came to America and worked nonstop to improve all aspects of her life, because she has a strong desire to live a well-balanced successful life with joy. She always reminds herself that she is a life-long learner. She worked two jobs to put herself though college and finished with a double major and no student debts.

After graduating from college, she landed an IT job at 3M, but her job was not challenging enough, so she left to find another opportunity that would keep her challenged. She landed another job with a high tech startup, which offered her a 40% pay raise, but 10 months after joining the company, it closed its doors because they ran out of money. Instead of getting another job, she refused to get back into the corporate world; though her experience, she knew that she would not enjoy working in a corporate job for another 30 years of her life, and missing out on a lot of interesting life experiences, but the biggest thing was TIME to spend with her kids and family. She knew that working for someone else would not provide her the freedom of time and create financial independence that she desired.

Seeking out a new opportunity to become her own boss, she found a new opportunity in the finance sector, specializing in residential mortgages. She founded her own mortgage company after three months of extensive training with an experienced mortgage broker of 35 years. She closed over $150 million in residential mortgage loans. While running a successful mortgage company, she also started building a rental business for her family focusing on residential investments. She knows that one day if she and her husband are no longer able to work for any reason, there is a business that can support her family. By 2008, her real estate investments provided her financial independence, so she withdrew from the mortgage business.

Korianne started out buying just one rental property and then grew it into a rental portfolio of 45 projects at one time. During the last 15 years of her real estate career, has bought/sold over 90 rental projects. She is now spending time managing rental projects in six different regions around the United States and is still actively selling/buying when an investment makes sense.

Korianne enjoys spending time with her family travelling around the world 3-4 times a year. She is an avid fitness fanatic, loves outdoor activities and is a consistent donor for humanity and homeless kids’ projects.
