Milwaukee Area Dentist Tony Cigno Releases New Article Discussing Fluoride Safety and Fluoride Myths

Milwaukee area dentist Dr. Tony Cigno discusses the safety of fluoride and common myths associated with fluoride.

Greenfield, WI — November 20, 2017 — Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published an article titled, “Is Fluoride Safe? Busting the Myths with the Truth About Fluoride.”

Dr. Tony CignoAs a dentist, Dr. Cigno says he and other dentists often get questions about topics other than general health from the parents of his smaller patients. That’s understandable and appreciated he states, since, “After all, we care about your child’s total wellness—not just their dental health alone.”

One of the more common questions he is posed, he explains, is whether fluoride is safe for children.

In the article, he addresses that question, as well as examines the current myths about the safety of fluoride.

Summarily, Dr. Cigno says, “Overwhelmingly, dentists and doctors alike, agree fluoride is safe for children and adults. In fact, it’s essential to dental health and this fact is without a doubt.”

On the other hand, he acknowledges, it can be hard to just take his – or any dentist’s – word for it. Thus, in the remainder of the piece he provides additional evidence to support this contention.
