Milwaukee Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno Publishes Second Piece in Two-Part Article Series on the Extreme Side of Dental Care Dangers

Tony Cigno, Wisconsin family dentist, shares additional potential major risks of poor dental health.

Greenfield, WI — July 6, 2016 — Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published the second and final part of his two part article sequence titled, “Dental Dangers: The Horror Movie Lurking In Your Mouth.”

Dr. Tony CignoIn part two of the series, Dr. Cigno starts off by reminding that certain dental health mishaps can be extremely serious – even deadly – if not attended promptly.

In this section, he first covers the health risks of crooked teeth. The problems with crooked teeth extend far beyond looks. For example, crooked teeth increase the risk of severe gum disease. If crooked teeth cause overcrowding, this can make the teeth wear down faster which can create medical situations like migraines.  Yet, this is also one of the easiest areas to fix.

As Dr. Cigno states in the article, “Thankfully, crooked teeth are one of the easiest dental hazards to address. These days, you have tons of options for straightening your teeth. From traditional braces, to clear braces and Invisalign, to the latest option – Fastbraces – teeth can be re-aligned quickly and easily when you choose the right dental professional

The final dental health issue that relates to personal health risks covered in the article is gum disease. This is the most serious of the topics covered as untreated gum disease, according to Dr. Cigno, has been directly linked to heart disease and/or stroke.
