Frederick, MD – March 15, 2018 – Sandy Olson, owner and speaker with Pathway to Success, a motivational company, recently published a new blog titled “The Importance of Moving Forward” on her website in which Ms. Olson relates not moving forward to moving backwards.

 Olson writes, “This month we ‘spring forward’ into daylight savings time.” She continues adding, “This started a train of thought about the importance of moving forward in our lives. I’ve heard it said that if you aren’t moving forward you’re moving backwards. I find there is truth in that statement.”

As Olson points out, “The world doesn’t stop just because you do.” She elaborates further, “The world keeps moving and if you’re not moving along with it, you might as well be going backwards. Curiosity keeps drawing us forward.” She quotes Walt Disney who said, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

“So, as we begin to experience longer days of sunlight and shorter nights,” writes Olson, “explore something new. Don’t get stuck in a rut. If you shy away from experiencing new things you will become bored and feel stifled. Open up to new things. Keep moving into the unknown!”
