Motivational Speaker Expert Sandy Olson Writes About The Useful Art of Delegating.

Sandy Olson, Speaker and Owner of Pathway to Success, a motivational company, encourages entrepreneurs to learn the art of delegating in order to avoid burnout and to create a culture of enthusiasm and cooperation.

Frederick, MD – May 17, 2017 – Sandy Olson, owner and speaker with Pathway to Success, a motivation company, recently published an article titled Great Leaders Know How to Delegate on her website. Ms. Olson states, “If you’ve just started your business and have dreams of growing, there’s one useful skill that you’ll want to learn and begin to practice as early as possible. That is the art of delegating.”

According to Olson, “So many entrepreneurs are hands-on and think they can do everything themselves. I’ve been there myself and I can assure you, that is the kind of thinking that will stagnate a business faster than anything.”

Olson writes, “The fact is that delegating is one of the hardest things for an entrepreneur to learn how to do. The Gallup Organization shows how difficult it is.” She continues adding, “They state that only one in four entrepreneurs with employees have “high levels of delegator talent.” Also according to Gallup, ‘Founders who have and use the high delegator talent can generate better business growth and venture success than leaders who get lost in the day-to-day minutiae of managing a business’.”

“So,” says Olson, “the question you’ll want to ask yourself now and at various stages in your business’s growth is: How good am I at delegating? And, you’ll want to continuously improve your delegating skills as your business grows.”

Olson explains why she is focusing on delegation pointing out that, “One of the major reasons is that it helps prevent burnout. No matter what kind of business you have, if it’s going to grow you simply cannot do everything yourself.”

“Delegation also helps others develop skills,” says Olson. “It generates a company culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and openness.” She adds, “Quite simply delegating allows you to be more effective and productive.”
