New York Dental Practice Shares What to Do When You Chip a Tooth

Dr. William P. Caldon, D.M.D., co-owner of Plattsburgh’s High Peaks Dental, offers help for chipped and broken teeth.

Plattsburgh, NY —  March 25, 2016 — Renowned Plattsburgh dentist Dr. William Caldon published a new blog post entitled “What to Do When You Chip a Tooth.” In the post, he shares when to call a dentist and what you should do before your appointment.

William CaldonSays Caldon, “Unfortunately, it happens to most of us eventually. If you trip and fall, bite down on something you shouldn’t or get hit in the mouth, you may find yourself with an unsightly chip in your smile. As we age and our tooth enamel wears away, it becomes easier and easier to chip or break a tooth. Even a slight impact at the right angle can chip a tooth – like biting down on your fork. The good news is that we can almost always return your smile to normal.”

Dr. Caldon has been a co-owner of High Peaks Dental since 1996 after serving in the

United States Air Force for 20 years and retiring as a Colonel. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville and his Bachelor’s from Thomas More College. In 2013, USA Today featured Caldon as one of America’s Premier Dentists.
