 Naples, FL, June 20, 2019: Owner and CEO of Smilecreator of Naples, Dr. Nilo Hernandez, Jr., DDS, has posted a new blog on his website entitled, “The Key To Health Is In Your Mouth” in which he introduces readers to an exciting and life-saving new testing method.

Dr. Nilo writes, “We are all very familiar with the stereo-typical scenario depicting a visit to the doctor.” He continues, “The doctor walks in, greets the patient, then says, “Open your mouth and say, ‘Ah.’” He or she then depresses the tongue with what looks like a wide popsicle stick and looks around inside the mouth.” Dr. Nilo states, “Most people are unaware of what the doctor is looking for.”

According to Dr. Nilo, “Generally, the doctor would be looking to see if there is anything swollen. And,” he emphasizes, “they are looking at the tongue for a variety of signs that could indicate any number of health issues that might be brewing.”

“The mouth is the primary gateway to the entire body,” Dr. Nilo says. He elaborates, “Everything that goes into the mouth makes its way through the body and much of what goes into the mouth ends up either adding to the health or the illness of the body and its organs. And, that health or illness is reflected in the mouth.”

About Dr. Nilo Hernandez

Nilo A. Hernandez Jr., DDS, DICOI completed I dental degree at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska in 1991. Prior to that, he also completed dental training overseas that placed much emphasis on surgery and trauma procedures. With so much training in the surgical arts, it’s no wonder that he has excelled on this chosen path with the greatest of passion and vigor.

Since 1991, Dr. Hernandez has placed and restored well over 10,000 dental implants and has achieved and maintained an extremely high success rate.
