Nilo Hernandez, Jr., DDS, DICOI, best-selling co-author of the book, The Will To Win, with Brian Tracy, and owner of the SmileCreator of Naples, assures readers that going to the dentist is now very safe and even more important in light of how integral oral health is to overall health and wellbeing.

Naples, FL, July 22, 2020: Owner and CEO of Smilecreator of Naples, Dr. Nilo Hernandez, Jr., DDS, has posted a new blog on his website entitled, “Your Mouth is The Gateway To Your Health Especially During This Pandemic,” in which Dr. Hernandez eases any fear that some people may have about visiting the dentist for routine cleanings and check-ups.

Dr. Hernandez writes, “If you have been following me for any length of time, you know that one of the most frequent topics that I talk, write and educate about is the importance of oral health to overall health and wellbeing.” He emphasizes, “Our oral health plays an even more integral role in our wellbeing now as we are dealing with the COVID-19 virus.”

Dr. Hernandez states, “Shelter-at-home restrictions have been eased quite a bit. For those of us in the dental profession, for several months we only treated emergencies. Now that we are back in our offices, I want to remind you that keeping your previously scheduled dental appointment or scheduling a maintenance visit is safe and important to keeping your resistance to COVID strong.”

“Let me assure you,” the Dr. says, “if there is any doubt in your mind that dental offices in general are hyper-sensitive about cleanliness and the protection of patients and employees. We have worn masks and gloves for years and continue to improve protocols in the equipment that is used in our practices. We are taking many new precautions to protect our patients and ourselves from exposure to COVID-19 as issued by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in light of COVID-19. Rest assured, you will be safe at our dental offices.”
