Orlando Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Roger Murray, MD Passes Phlebology Board Certification Exam

Dr. Roger Murray, M.D., an Orlando based cosmetic surgeon, recently passed the first board certification exam administered by The American Board of Phlebology.

Orlando, Fla. –July 16, 2008 – In 2007, The American Board of Phlebology was established to improve the standards of medical practitioners in the field of phlebology and all aspects of venous disease. The Board establishes educational standards for training programs in phlebology and awards certification in the practice of phlebology.  According to the American Board of Phlebology’s website, phlebology is “the study of veins and venous diseases and disorders. Board Certified phlebologists have extensive knowledge of and training in the diagnosis and treatment of vein disorders and have met the standards of the American Board of Phlebology.”

This spring, Orlando Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Roger Murray, MD passed the first board certification exam in phlebology, and is now recognized as possessing the knowledge, experience and skills needed to provide quality care to phlebology patients.

About Dr. Roger Murray:

Dr. Roger Murray, M.D. is an Orlando, Fla. based cosmetic surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery and is an expert in scar minimization techniques, aesthetics and anti-aging.   He has been in medical practice for 30 years and has recently trademarked Telemorx™, a daily supplement he created to help provide a boost of energy for patients who complained of feeling tired and run down.   

 Roger Y. Murray, M.D. graduated from Medical University of South Carolina, after which he did an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Family Practice.  He became board certified in Family Practice, and recently took his boards in Phlebology.  He has been in private practice in Altamonte Springs and recently moved to South Orlando.
