John Ledford, CFP®, is contributing as an Executive Producer to new documentary titled “Armonia”.

Orlando, FL – November 4, 2014 – John Ledford, President of Ledford Wealth Management, will serve as an Executive Producer on the upcoming documentary film, “Armonia”, from CelebrityFilms™.  Mr. Ledford and CelebrityFilms™ will partner with Armonia U.S. Inc, a non profit 501 (c)(3) corporation in the United States designed to support programs abroad committed to working with the poor to bring about Christian Transformation, empowerment and a better life. 3-Time Emmy Award winning Director, Nick Nanton, will direct the film.

John Ledford will join The Emmy Award winning team at CelebrityFilms™ to help bring this film to full production. The documentary will chronicle the journeys of several Armonia Indigenous Mexican Scholars (AIMS) students in Oaxaca, Mexico. The AIMS program provides an opportunity for poor Indian (indigenous Mexican) teenagers in the Sierra Madre mountains of Southern Mexico to obtain a High School education, and a chance for University education in Mexico City.

In 2008, Ledford Financial was honored by Orlando Magazine1 as one of the “Top Financial Planning Firms” in Central Florida. Also in 2008, Boomer Market Advisor2named John “Socially Responsible Advisor of the Year” for his work providing funds to micro banks throughout Latin American and the Caribbean, which spurred the creation of Change MicroFund. In 2009, John was a top 10 finalist for Registered Rep’s3“Outstanding Advisor of the Year” for which he was again recognized for his work in micro-lending in emerging-market countries.

John’s registrations include FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65. He is a  Investment Adviser Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. John is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a former member of the Gulf Coast and Space Coast Estate Planning Councils.

John attended North Texas State University and is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida and the College for Financial Planning.

He currently lives in Winter Springs with his wife, Valerie, and four children. Away from the office, he enjoys diving, music, coaching, flying, and just about every sport.
