Valente, from the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, have joined Jack Canfield, along with a select group of experts and professionals, to co-write the forthcoming book titled, The Road to Success: Today’s Leading Entrepreneurs and Professionals Reveal Their Step-By-Step Systems To Help You Achieve The Health, Wealth and Lifestyle You Deserve. Nick Nanton, Esq., along with business partner, JW Dicks, Esq., the leading agents to Celebrity Experts^® worldwide, recently signed a publishing deal with Miele and Valente to contribute their expertise to the book, which will be released under their CelebrityPress® imprint.

The Road to Success: Today’s Leading Entrepreneurs and Professionals Reveal Their Step-By-Step Systems To Help You Achieve The Health, Wealth and Lifestyle You Deserve is tentatively scheduled for release in fall 2016.

A portion of the royalties earned from The Road to Success will be donated to Entrepreneur’s International Foundation, a not for profit organization dedicated to creating unique launch campaigns to raise money and awareness for charitable causes.

About Joseph Miele:

Joseph (J.P.) Miele’s public service career spans more than fifty years, beginning with serving as the youngest first assistant prosecutor in the history of Essex County, New Jersey. He later established a private law practice and was owner of over twenty companies throughout the United States.

In 1985, J.P. was appointed Chairman of the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and, under his leadership, more than 500 Municipal Alliances were formed, consisting of over 50,000 volunteers.

As Founder and Chairman of the nationally recognized, award-winning partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, established in 1989, J.P. was the driving force behind the creation of the largest public service media campaign in the state’s history.

J.P. served as commissioner of the New Jersey Highway Authority from 1985 to 1990, chairing the Technology Committee, which was successful in computerizing the entire Garden State Parkway operations. He also served as president of the Garden State Arts Foundation, which provides free theatre performances for thousands of senior citizens, youth, and disabled.

In 1993, J.P. was appointed commissioner of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and subsequently served as Vice Chairman of the highest revenue-producing toll road in the country.

In 1997, J.P. chaired the Committee for a Smart New Jersey, whose objective was to improve the state’s transportation network, improve air quality, and foster economic development. JP also served as Vice Chairman of New Jersey’s Constitutional Bicentennial Commission.

JP takes the most pride in the Joseph P. Miele Foundation, which has awarded academic scholarships to needy students. To date, over one million dollars has been awarded in scholarship aid.

In 2007, J.P. retired from his public and private undertakings, passing the torch to his son, Joseph Anthony Miele. However, his accomplishments continue to touch many lives, remaining passionate and true to helping those in need.

About Angelo M. Valente:

Since 1992, Angelo M. Valente has served as Executive Director of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (PDFNJ). He led the organization to become the largest, continuous Public Service Campaign in New Jersey’s history.

Mr. Valente also serves as Chief Executive Officer of the American Medicine Chest Challenge, a national public health initiative to raise awareness of prescription drug abuse and maintain a National Directory of Permanent Prescription Drug Collection sites.

Since 2000, Mr. Valente has served as a Member of the Holy See’s Delegation to the United Nations.

Mr. Valente, the youngest person to serve on the Hoboken City Council, he also served as a Commissioner of the Hoboken Housing Authority. In 2005, he led the City of Hoboken’s sesquicentennial celebration as Co-Chair.

Mr. Valente has served on the Governor’s Council on Volunteerism and Community Service, the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority, Secretary to the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission and is a commissioner on the Hudson County Board of Taxation. Mr. Valente is a Member of the Arbitration Committee to the Supreme Court of New Jersey and a Trustee of The Waterfront Project. Mr. Valente is a life-long Parishioner and Trustee of St. Francis Parish in Hoboken.

Mr. Valente has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University and a Master Degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Public Administration and Seton Hall University in Diplomacy and International Relations.

Mr. Valente is married to Jane Valente. They are the proud parents of three daughters: Hannah, Mia, and Marietta.
