Personal Injury Attorney, Eva Brindisi Pearlman, Asks Drivers To Be More Attentive to Motorcyclists.

Utica, NY, July 14, 2015: Personal Injury attorney, Eva Brindisi Pearlman, partner at the Law Offices of Brindisi, Murad, Brindisi & Pearlman, has posted a new blog on the law offices website entitled “Summer and Motorcycle Safetyin which she elaborates on the greatest distracting device in driving history.

Pearlman writes, “Understandably, summer weather draws everyone outside in record numbers. And, inevitably my mind turns to motorcycle safety.” She continues adding, “I can’t help it. I’m a personal injury attorney and I know what can happen when a car collides with a motorcycle.”

While she does emphasize that motorcyclists are responsible for their safety on the road, they are not alone. Pearlman explains, “If two cars collide, let’s just say in a minor fender-bender, very often the damage is to the automobiles alone. However, if an automobile hits a motorcyclist, the repercussions of two thousand pounds of steel and glass making contact with a human body are much greater.”

“The distractions while behind the wheel of a car are greater today than they’ve ever been,” says Pearlman. It is already an established fact as Pearlman states, “Cell phone usage is still the biggest distraction in driving history. Despite laws against texting while driving and talking on the phone unless you are hands-free and texting and driving, many people continue to engage in these activities. And, the greatest danger comes from the most inexperienced group of drivers, teens.”
