Mike is originally from Green Bay, WI.  He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1990.  He was active in the financial planning business from 1990 through 2002 where he owned a financial planning broker-dealer that he grew from $1.6 million in revenue to over $40 million in five years and then sold to a large national insurance company.  He also owned a large, full-service financial planning firm that had over $100 million in client investments, which he sold in late 2002.  From 2002 until today, Mike has been an active investor in affordable multi-family investments, first in Orlando, FL and now in Cary, NC.  He has done 16 full cycle deals (buy, rehab, sell) in the last 12 years with sale proceeds exceeding $65 million.
