The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm Founder, Victoria L Collier, Extends An Invitation To A Second Death Discussion Meeting

Estate & Asset Protection Attorney, Victoria Collier continues the conversation begun in May about death and the impact it has on those who have lost loved ones as well as those that may be facing death and invites readers to join the discussion.

DECATUR, GA, August 26, 2019: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm’s website entitled “A Continuing Discussion About A Topic Most People Don’t Want To Discuss,” in which Ms. Collier clearly wants to provide a safe place to have a conversation that many people would rather avoid.

Victoria CollierCollier writes, “Death. It’s not exactly the cheeriest of topics.” She goes on to state that, “In fact, most Americans would rather avoid the topic altogether.” Collier adds, “I have discovered though that there are some people who cherish and look forward to having intelligent discussions around this most final and completely mysterious subject.”

“We hosted our first Death Discussion event on May 23rd,” writes Collier. She continues adding, “The people in attendance were very appreciative to have a forum where they could share how death has impacted them. One young lady shared that she currently has untreatable cancer.” It is Collier’s stance that, “Those facing the prospect of death have no outlet for discussing and sharing what it means to live facing the prospect of death.” Likewise, she adds, “Those who have been impacted by the death, be it unexpected or expected, of a loved one often have no one to whom they can express their thoughts and feelings.”
