Dr. Kerry White Brown, an esteemed Orthodontist with nearly 20 years’ experience, gives strategies for moms to combat stress so they can be happier.
Columbia, South Carolina — October 4, 2016 — Carolina Orthodontist Kerry Brown White recently published a new article “How Busy Moms Can Beat Stress & Be Happy.”
Dr. White Brown starts out the article by acknowledging how just being a mom can sometimes be stressful. Yet, she asks, how can you hope to beat stress when it seems there is a never-ending supply of stress-inducing situations in the life of the already-busy mom.
As Dr. White Brown says, “While a mom may never truly be able to beat stress, it is possible to tame it. Here are some things you can do to start minimizing mom-stress today!”
Ideas White Brown gives include starting your day earlier, getting more organized, making a plan, unplugging when you can, but taking advantage of tech too. Also, she adds, don’t forget to look for opportunities to talk to other adults when possible.
She says, “One often overlooked stressor for moms is having no one to share with, commiserate with, and even, laugh or cry with at times. As moms, we often completely shape our lives around our children, or work and children, or children and other family. “
