Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Verne Weisberg Warns Against Cheap Cosmetic Procedures.
Dr. Verne Weisberg, founder and owner of The Plastic Surgery Center advises those anxious for cosmetic procedures to wait until they can afford the services of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon instead of falling for a cheap offer.
Portland, ME, February 16, 2016: Owner and Founder of The Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Verne Weisberg posted a new blog on his website entitled, “Don’t Cheat Yourself With Cheap Cosmetic Procedures.” Getting a new look at the start of the New Year often turns catastrophic in the wrong hands as Dr. Weisberg points out in his latest blog.
Weisberg writes, “This time of the year is when many people, men and women alike, seriously consider improving their looks and their confidence with some sort of cosmetic procedure. Unfortunately many people opt out for low priced procedures that are often done illegally in salons, homes or malls.” He continues adding, “The price might be lower, but no matter how low it is it’s too high when the end results are potentially catastrophic.”
“In real estate,” says Weisberg, “there’s the expression everyone has heard. It’s all about “location, location, location.” Well, the world of plastic cosmetic surgery is all about the 3Ps: Product, Practitioner and Place.”
When considering any kind of cosmetic procedure, do your homework and make certain your procedure is being done as safely as possible by following the 3P’s.
Weisberg provides an overview of each of the 3P’s, saying, “If a provider refuses or is unable to tell you what material you would be injected with move on.”
Ultimately Weisberg cautions, “The bottom line is this: Save your money even if you can’t get the procedure you want right away. Get it done right the first time with the right Product, Practitioner in the right Place. You’ll be happier in the long run.”
