Author, Inspirational Speaker and Sales Superstar Tina Meitl, contemplates integrity and its role in building trust as well as establishing one’s reputation.

OBERLIN, KS – November 29, 2016 – Tina Meitl, Sales Superstar, Motivational Speaker and co-author of the best-selling book, Success Manifesto with Brian Tracy has posted a new article on her website entitled, “Got Integrity?” Ms. Meitl is clearly on a mission to reignite integrity as a core moral code in her newest article

Meitl writes, “I’ve been thinking about integrity lately. I’m sure it isn’t necessary to explain why this word has been forefront in my mind. As I contemplated the word,” she continues, “I decided to look up the full meaning. Here is how integrity is defined by Merriam-Webster:

Full Definition of integrity

1: firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values: incorruptibility
2: an unimpaired condition: soundness
3: the quality or state of being complete or undivided: completeness”

According to Meitl, “We live in a world where integrity seems to be an afterthought, if thought of at all, and where “the ends justify the means.” She continues adding, “This willingness to pretend to set integrity aside,” says Meitl, “to justify an end result is the very essence of lack of integrity. That failure to stand in an unimpaired condition is having an erosive affect on the fabric of our society.” Meitl states, “I fear nothing good can come of it.” She turns to B.C. Forbes, who founded Forbes magazine nearly a century ago,who once commented, “Integrity is the basis of all true-blue success.”

Meitl continues, “The value of trust goes beyond anything that can be measured. Trust among people is earned and comes as a result of integrity. Those who display integrity are trusted. So, this is the way it goes. If you want to develop and build integrity you must surround yourself with people who possess and live according to the same character, values and integrity that you aspire to.”
