Philip Walter Smith was born in Cumberland, Maryland, in 1945. He has published several fiction and non-fiction books. As an international finance expert, he has worked with the banking sectors in thirteen countries. More than 13,000 have attended his seminars in the last forty years.

5. I lost my eyesight in one eye in Iraq. Our convoy was attacked by snipers, and during the action, my retina was detached. I didn’t know it until too late, and the retina could not be re-attached.
6. Recovering from the eye operations led to the writing of my first book. (Thanks to an incredible drug I was given for pain relief.)
7. My latest book, YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT: THE ROAD TO EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN LIFE, was written while in quarantine in May 2020. The book is a guideline for anyone who wants to change their life. And it reinforces the benefits received when you do something to help others. The book and e-book are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It is being sold in Kyrgyzstan (Russian language) and in Ghana and the US (English language).
8. I am now married to a wonderful, intelligent, strong, and beautiful woman who also happens to be a doctor/surgeon. In 1998, as a nurse, she assisted in the operation during which I died twice. She was also there when I saw the white lights four days later. She knew me first from the inside out! Now, as a doctor, she can take care of me for the next 40 years.
9. By taking control of all phases of my life, including loving myself, believing in myself, and trusting myself, I am now the happiest man in the world.
10. I have now committed to giving 20% of all gross receipts from my businesses to charity. We have already distributed tens of thousands of dollars and hope to be above six figures in 2021.
