Milwaukee Area Dentist Tony Cigno Publishes New Article About the Benefits of Electric Toothbrushes

Milwaukee area dentist Dr. Tony discusses how and why electric toothbrushes are preferred by dentists over manual toothbrushes.

Greenfield, WI — March 8, 2018 — Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published an article titled, “Why Are Electric Toothbrushes Better Than Traditional Toothbrushes?

Dr. Tony CignoAs Dr. Cigno explains, “Many people seem to believe the toothpaste chosen is the most important part of brushing, but that’s not always the case. In many cases, the toothbrush itself is the most important part of brushing your teeth.”

This begins, he elaborates, with the right toothbrush. Dr. Cigno, like many other dentists, suggest that the “right” toothbrush is a quality electric toothbrush.

In his article, Dr. Cigno gives several different and specific reasons that an electric toothbrush is better than a manual toothbrush.

For example, a good electric toothbrush simply works better to get your teeth and gums cleaner. Particularly because the motion of an electric toothbrush will do more to keep teeth and gums in tip-top shape. This, combined with proper brushing technique, will always keep teeth and gums healthier than proper brushing alone.

Dr. Cigno also discusses specific technological features of electric toothbrushes that make them more beneficial than a manual toothbrush, as well. Timers that ensure brushing is long enough, pressure sensors, digital reminders to replace brush heads, and more are just some of the things good electric toothbrushes might offer.
