MIAMI, FLA. – September 1, 2020 – Danette Gossett, Founder of Gossett Marketing Communications, Inc., Co-Founder of Promotions Resource, LLC, and co-author of the best-selling book Transform, was recently featured in PromoCorner article titled“Are You Changing to Thrive?” Ms. Gossett shares her own personal experience with the changes due to COVID-19, her plan of change, and advice for business leaders to thrive during this time.

Gossett writes, “now that we know the pandemic situation is not so temporary it’s gotten better. Because now, we know we must change. A lot has to change, but for most, we have to change our mindset. If we have our own business, we have to rework our business plan, if we are in sales, we need to develop new sales channels and if we are managers as well, we need to develop new motivation techniques.”

In addition to having a new mindset and new business plan, she adds that “thinking outside the box is more necessary than ever.” She continues to explain that, “we all recognize and appreciate that change is hard. It has been hard adjusting to this new digital world we are living in. Human contact becomes a precious commodity within the “bubbles” we create for ourselves. Now more than ever we have to think “outside the box” to create new and different experiences.”

Gossett emphasizes the importance of thriving, not just surviving. She shares “the pandemic was a major wake-up call for most of us. And an extreme learning experience on how to survive. However, I am tired of just surviving, it is time to move into the thriving mode.”
