Retirement Resources President and Investment Advisor, Dave Boike, talks about how so many Americans who have diligently saved to make their retirement years comfortable are now having to raid their retirement accounts for basic necessities. He also acknowledges one bright spot, penalty free withrawals.

Auburn Hills, MI — August 29, 2020— Dave Boike, President of Retirement Resources and co-author of The Ultimate Success Guide with Brian Tracy published a new blog post on the company website entitled, “From Retirement Plan To Pandemic Survival Plan,” in which Mr. Boike acknowledges the unexpected challenges everyone is facing due to COVID-19.

Boike writes, “If anyone had told me a year ago that people – among them some of my clients – would be forced to raid their retirement plans in order to put food on the table or to cover basic necessities, I would have rolled my eyes at the ridiculous notion.” He goes on to add, “But, here we are. And that is what is happening all around the country. In the midst of record-breaking job loss and unemployment, people who have diligently saved with the goal of making their retirement years comfortable are scrambling to cover basic necessities.” He states, “It’s heartbreaking to see this happen.”
