Tax Resolution Attorney, Jeffrey T. Jones Gives Reasons To Be Thankful for The IRS This Thanksgiving.

Charleston, WV, November 24, 2015: Tax resolution specialist attorney Jeffrey T. Jones, founder of the Law Offices of Jeffrey T. Jones, and best-selling author of “Protect and Defend has posted a new article on his website entitled The IRS Isn’t Perfect, But It Is A System to Be Thankful For,” in which he elaborates on the many benefits we receive from paying some of the lowest taxes in the world.

Jeffrey Jones Jones writes, “As we celebrate our lives our families and friends this coming Thanksgiving Day, we have much to be thankful for especially from a tax perspective.” He continues adding, “For instance, if you got through last tax season without having your identity or your refund stolen by cyber-thieves or a criminally minded tax preparer, consider yourself very fortunate. Hundreds of thousands of American citizens were not so lucky. Give thanks for that touch of grace.”

According to Jones, “On a deeper level, while most people like to complain about the IRS to anyone who will listen, there is much to be thankful for about our tax system.”

Jones goes on to explain, “I recently came across an article from the Washington Post’s Plum Line Blog published on April 14th of this year. Reading it made me realize that if people are too aggravated on April 15th to be thankful, maybe this time of year they might be a little more inclined to see the finer points of the IRS on Thanksgiving Day, when they’re not having to pay the piper.”

Jones writes, “The article, entitled “Why You Should Be Thankful on Tax Day,” written by Paul Waldman points out that, “the truth is that for most people, taxation in America is relatively modest, and we get a lot for our money.” (https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2015/04/14/why-you-should-be-thankful-on-tax-day/)

Noting a point from the article that most Americans are probably unaware of, Jones writes, “Waldman posted a chart that shows as he states, “America has the lowest taxes in the developed world. In fact, only South Korea, Chile and Mexico have lower taxes than we do.”

Jones states, “We have so much more to be thankful for than to complain about. Maybe you’ll stop for a moment before you dig into that beautiful turkey dinner and give thanks for the IRS! Happy Thanksgiving!”
